Autoglass was the same for me, he was excellent, even sorted out the rattle in the housing on the screen and told me why it was.
But the OP is concerned about the glass being fitted by AG, and as I said I got AG to fit an original screen, not there replacement screen
Another reason I wanted an original is because of markings, when it came to selling the car if someone spots that the screen replaced they may assume that it was due to an accident etc. and use that to push price down or worse still not buy it.
