Hi Dean,

No problem, thanks. I started by disconnecting each part as attached inside the tailgate - for example the brake light, wiper motor, heated rear window etc. Then on the left side where the wiring is attached, undo the two Torx (T25 I think) bits and then you can, in effect, feed the wiring through from the tailgate and into the car body via the hinge. I did it this way as I'm pretty certain that feeding the big multi-plug connector through is what damaged the wiring when I replaced the tailgate on my 850.

As an aside, what colour is the dashboard? If it is black, I may ask for the glove box lid, as the lid on one of my 850s is stuck closed.
