It's very rare for the head gaskets to go on these diesels, drain youre coolant out and replenish with proper volvo stuff from a dealer 50/50 mix it's not that expensive get it from the uk if needs be as it's cheap here, it wouldn't pull and go aswell if you had head gasket failure. But check inside youre oil cap for mayo, but head gasket failure is rare the coolant might be old that's why it's a ****ty colour could even be water only in there.it takes a lot to break these engines
