So after several attempts at getting the new split ring onto the injectors I decided to fashion a tool.
Basically it’s an olive from a compression coupling brazed to my circlip pliers, simple but effective and saved a lot of swearing.
Just used it to get it past the first groove in the injector then pushed the ring the rest of the way with the old clamping ring.
