I've seen underbonnet pictures of the Evolve S40, and one of the main reasons it could never really be made a commercial release is that the exhaust manifold has to run over the cam cover (and spark plug cover) to the only place they could put a decent sized turbo! In other words you have to remove the exhaust manifold to change the spark plugs.

On a 240 there is enough space to fit a truck turbo without compromising access to the engine. They never released the 240 Turbo here either...grumble grumble.

Conservatism with their model releases - be it 'Lame R' syndrome, or total non-release (hot 360, 240 Turbo, 780) is not a new problem in the UK...
