T5 engine
I've had my T5 for 6 years and it is a bit heavy on the oil which is either leaking into the turbo or via worn stem seals. There's always blue smoke after a roll down a long hill, but very light grey smoke and good turbo boost after a hard acceleration over a quarter mile. So the turbo works OK, the engine runs OK and it's done 160,000 miles. Downside is that pootling around only gives you 27 mpg. A long motorway run gives 31-32 mpg.
