Yeah, i cant believe it myself. I asked on a local facebook group if anybody knows somebody with a vida dice to plug my car on. And a random guy replied: I have it and I am willing to sell it because i have sold my Volvo. Picked it up in an hour for 50€, thats 40 quid? Or is it 50 now due to bexit
Downloaded a virtual box vida dice and set it up on my macbook. The most time consuming part was cleaning my 128gb ssd drive to enable enough space to install virtual machine and getting the damn usb stick to work both with windows and mac.
I have still found some other problems one being a failty glow plug relay(good thing its 20°C) and a faulty engine fan module (bad thing its 20°C). So for now the car will only work on a room temperature
Oh and the accelerator position analog sensor still shows minimum reading of 8% and max reading of 60% absolutely floored. That doesn't sound right, does it?
But at least the throttle response is instantaneous now!
