Yes, can confirm our 2009 plate XC60 has had the proverbial sloshing for a while and now had a confirmed windscreen leak. (It's been permanently garaged over the winter whilst we were away so no current sloshing)

We were dreading having to take it to our local Volvo dealer who charges £100+VAT to even look at a problem and we've never been very happy with them. But someone let slip they don't do the screen work themselves. We found a screen specialist (Scotglass) who confirmed they would get a proper Volvo screen if needed and took the car there.

They removed the screen easily - the bonding had gone pretty much all across the top of the screen, and clearly the rest of the bonding was so poor that the screen came out with no breakage. Rebonded and now waiting to see if the slohing returns.

Kudos to Scotglass

Though we would have liked VCUK to have paid but it wsn't expensive as no new screen and we're prepared to pay to avoid the hassle of dealing with Volvo.
