Despite wanting the car to go on to be someone's pride and joy project, it seems that nobody wants a rust and dent free donor car that's had £1000's spent on it in the last 15K miles or so.
I have 2 serious offers for the engine now [ new head, turbo 10K miles ago, etc,etc. ] and also the radiator and Intercooler both replaced by PO. Today I had an enquiry for the auto box - also perfect.
Then there's the brand new Bilsteins and Killen springs that have done all of 7 miles since fitting !! That's from the workshop to my house.
My issue is that I cannot carry out the dismantling due to health issues - if I could do that ..... I'd be able to finish it off !
So, IF I get serious commitment to buy the large lumps I may well see about breaking it - big shame.
