A few weeks ago I totalled my well worn and well loved V70 T5 (named Wilbe) in a stupid accident. He is way beyond economical repair.
I dont really want to just scrap him - T5s are becoming increasingly rare and once he's gone, he's gone. I am looking for anyone willing to take him on as a repair project or as a major donor for their own T5. The insurance company tell me that for roughly £165 off the tiny payout they will let me keep / sell the wreck - so that's the minimum I am asking please. His parts are obviously worth way more, but I'd like to see them used on another T5.
I am hoping the subframe is still straight but the engineers have not come out to check yet. The rear end bumper tail gate and body panels are sound but the rear offside/right door is heavily dented, there is a scrape from there to the nose. Front passenger door is ok but the rear door is dented from a previous impact. The front bumper is smashed and radiator grill has popped.

Genuine Volvo thermostat and temp sender in last 12 months. ABS pump swapped about a month ago for second-user one.
Alloys in need of refurb but usable
Wiring aging. Oil flow and leak problems - needs good flush and clean out.
