A non-illuminating EML is an MOT failure, so you'll want it fixing before the next MOT...assuming your MOT tester checks it (which he should).

That was the jist of the response as I read it, and it included a link to a guy who can reinstate the LEDs on your cluster. Seems like reasonable advice to me!

None offensive mmmm, wonder how most people would take a comment like" do you know a dodgy MOT tester" and the reason i'm on here is i want it sorting asap, hence looking for advice
