Also, third question I forgot to add while on the subject of audio, the system is currently suffering from some alternator whine when tuned to FM frequencies. More noticeable when using the JVC modulator/bluetooth setup I've added as it needs the volume a bit higher. CD player unaffected. Do inline noise suppressors actually work or are they a waste of time? Having looked for advice elsewhere on Google it suggests just about anything from bad earths to a bad alternator to a bad aerial...
