Hi all,
I’m looking to view a prospective purchase in the next couple of days and am looking for any weakspots in the engine/gearbox area.

The car is a ‘59’plate with a Euro 5 D5 engine. I have no knowledge of this lump, any potential issues to look for?

As to the autobox, I read in the P2 section that they are renowned for clunkiness as they age due to lack of maintenance. Is this still an issue on this era car with about 170k on it? I’ve only had manuals upto now.
