I have to do some welding on the C pillar (is there such a thing).

I have all ready removed the rear quarter windows (easy enough).
Now I need to remove the rear seats to prevent fire .
I got the rear seat base free at the front but it seems to be hung up on something.
Then I have to remove the seat back.
Has anyone done this previously that would know the correct procedure.
