Thanks C70 98 - what exactly do you mean by "stuck a bit of metal" ?
How did you "stick it" - glue, solder or just jammed in ?
If the latter, won't it vibrate loose at some stage and did you use a spring behind it like the other bulbs ?
If so, where did you get the spring from ?
