Got caught once in really heavy snow on summer tyres and the T5 really helped me out by hauling itself along in 3rd gear at 1200 rpm...sailed past loads of stuck cars that night.
Now I've said that it'll be the worst winter ever lol.

should try and pop your winters on another set of wheels and just swap the whole thing over, definitely worth it and saves your summer wheels from all the road grit and gunk
My winters are on their own set of wheels and costs nothing to swap over really and its a good chance to give the wheels a good clean every time you swap them around
