Yes time for a new ETM , the replacement with yellow label seem pretty trouble free . Or you can risk a repair by a company i guess , but compare prices carefully first between new and a repair .
Thanks Clan. To be fair, they've had the car for about 5 years now. This is the only problem they've had besides the odd headlight bulb and the passenger seat wiring being pulled out (by the mother-in-laws handbag).
