My rear pads were at 25% on the 36k service so replaced then. With the exception of wiper blades - the only part that is not from the factory.

I rotate my tyres occasionally, just had new rears, front at 4.0mm and they are the original Continental's - the car has done 45k (obviously they have been on the rear more than the front).

I think that tyre wear is amazing - but they are well past their best and I'm driving it like I stole it to try and scrub them off so I get new fronts around mid November (it's a lease car).

My recollection is that most XC owners with 17/18 inch wheels get good tyre wear (assuming correct alignment and suspension ok). 19" and above seem to suffer.
