Just had the 2 Cross Climates fitted at ATS.
As per recommendation I asked them to put the rear wheels on the front and the new tyres on the back.
"If we do that sir we will have to strip the tyres as you have TPMS and that will cost extra"
"Why is that" I asked
"There are sensors which may not work if we just move the wheels and tyres and the TPMS will not work correctly"
"Really?"
"yes"
I tried to keep a straight face and insisted that they move the wheel and tyre as a unit.
