RE: crankshaft seal
1/ Is it the seal leaking or is the engine ventilation system blocked.
2/ Front or back seal. 3/ Front seal not to difficult but replace timing belt at same time, rear seal gearbox out and as its out do the clutch at the same time. Dont know figures for rear seal but friend paid around the 500 mark on a v70 for a clutch, say 125 for clutch parts gives an idea of labour. Add on flywheel removal and fitting oil seal to finish the figure !!! Chers Nigel
