There is a topic mentioning this somewhere and I think the consensus was not to have it linked (if it is available). I have found that my speed sign sensor picks up on the side road signs as well and it tells me the speed limit is 20mph when in fact that is for the side road and not the main. If the car was set to maintain the speed according to the sensor I would be having a problem with following traffic. It is a simple matter to push the cruise button when the speed limit is reached and I have the warning sound switched on to tell me of any change in the limit if I haven't seen it .
