The problem seems to be the various Highways Agencies/Departments are not updating the road sign locations as fast as the manufacturers are updating their road sign recognition systems.

I have had a number of scenarios where the RSI hasn’t picked up a sign or there isn’t one in line of sight of the car’s camera.

Driving in France is difficult too, as the speed signs on slip roads (90kph & 70kph) can be picked up by the car, which could be very dangerous if your car suddenly slowed on the main carriageway!

I have also followed a bus in a 20mph area, and the bus was displaying a 60mph sticker on the rear panel which was picked up by the RSI - again could have been nasty!

At the moment, I wouldn’t want to link the cruise control to the RSI system.
