Default White 240 gl automatic saloon

Okay. This has proven far more difficult than I imagined but needs must!

The 240 is my only transport. My elderly mother is chronically unwell, lives some 70+ miles from me and is now more in hospital than she is out and I need to be able to see her as often as I can afford, which a "flying brick" with an autobox just won't allow! It pains me greatly but I have to let the 240 go!

The car is a 1989 saloon, white, solid and tidy as you know doubt expect. Mileage shows 110k. Sits on good set of penta alloys. Mot May 2010. Recent alternator fitted (exchange unit, not scrap yard find!). Though the brakes work fine, I have bought disks front and rear from Braydon and they will go with the car, along with new front Mintex pads and Halfords rear pads. Also, I have - also yet to be fitted - new headlamp reflectors which was the only advisory in May's MoT.

There is a rattle from the exhaust which I suspect is a loose clamp. Also, the driver's seat is a little tired but still supportive, even of my hairy Scottish bulk! Other than that, the car is a sweet runner, has taken me recently to Kent and back from my home in West Lothian with no hassle and never fails to start.

I have photos which can be sent to interested parties. I would also consider a swap for a cheaper to run car with plenty of MoT - has to be in comparable condition to the 240 - or will sell for £575ovno. That is cheap - way cheaper than I think she may really be worth and a hell of a lot of car for the money.
