I take it you have one set of Thompsons that work OK?

Check the batteries are charged.

Turn on the DVD player and start playing a film

Check you can hear the sound with your existing Thompson headphones.

Turn them on. You'll see a little red light on the side.

Turn the little dial on the headphones marked tuning back and forth slowly. You may have to turn the volume dial up.

I hope this works for you.

It does look like you could swap out the transmitter if you want to, it is 12 volts, but it shouldn't be neccessary.
