Default 940 Gearbox Mount Replacement

Thanks for all the forumers' information here and other sites, i replaced my Gearbox Mount, and here are some pics:

a) First Jack Up car and support on stand on firm solid ground

b) Next support the axle on the UJ adjacent to the cross member where the Gearbox Mount is located.

c) The Gearbox Mount is screwed onto the Cross Member plate,

d) and this screw need to be loosened and have the nut and washer removed

e) Then loosen and unscrew the 4 screws mounting the cross member plate below the Gearbox mount

f) Once the plate is unscrewed, the plate can be taken out
The mount is screwed on the plate from the top, loosen and unscrew the 2 screws to remove the mounting. Replace with a new mount and reinstall in reverse.

g) This is how a new mount looks like. I bought the Meyle Brand as the manufacturer claims it is better than original and the price is cheaper.

h) See the difference between a used and a new mount.
This little height means a lot of difference in ride.
