I dont think I'll use my heated seats again! Its a common problem for the seats to catch fire. Most T5s I have seen in scrap yards have burned out interiors presumably due to the heated seats.
In the states Volvo finally admitted to there being a problem and did a recall and a few years later Volvo in this country also issued a recall. Try doing a search on this site there should be quite a bit of information on the problem and recall.
