Sorry to hear thr newd. It needs to go to someone capable of making an accurate diagnosis, be it a specialist or a main dealer.
Several threads on the forum just this week where supposed specialists were rather useless, so don't assume that the sun shines from betwixt their buttocks just because they're an indy speciliast. Ask around and see who can be trusted locally.
PS. Regardless of shere you go you will have to commit to paying for the time spent making the diagnosis, although a lot of places - including dealers - will then waive that fee if you have the work done with them,
