Whilst it's generally accepted that we pay more overall, the US prices won't include State Sales Tax as this varies from state to state.
Also, US cars may not get everything we do as standard; eg their base models have halogen headlamps and Adaptive Lighting isn't fitted to any cars as it's not approved for use in the US.
