A small update in case anyone is interested. I did the other side bush, it was easier knowing what to expect. I also had the shock out to replace that too, which meant access was better. The toughest part was the bolt through the bush into the arm. It was a lot tougher to budge than the other side, and access is limited. A long spanner, or I tried a crowsfoot and breaker bar.

The new bush lines up fine, not off the square like the passenger side, so I reckon there's something odd with that side.
