I could take the dark blue one to Gordon Hunter (of 'Save the Jonazon' thread fame) and have him sort it out while he's doing the rest of my 343...but since my yellow one is both rust-free and straight...I don't think having a pro work on a 'spare' is going to be worth the money. It's lead that they use like filler.
Mark...I'll have to weigh it, but it looks like it may be pretty cheap...sub £10 couriered via a shipping agent. Perhaps we should take this to PM?
Excellent news on the sump plug. The one pictured (here:
http://www.machine7.com/product.php?...3262&xSec=1171) looks identical to my genuine one (which came in the box for my factory accessory oil temp gauge kit), but I don't know the sump plug thread size off by heart. M14 x 1.5 sounds believeable.
