I'm looking for a serviceable drivers door handle mechanism for my 1969 RHD Amazon 2-door. The chrome handle itself is ok and I have a new lock barrel, but the push button moulding is worn inside and the lock barrel won't function properly. Does anyone have one I could buy? I had a similar problem on my P1800 but managed to get another mechanism from a LHD car in the US which resolved the issue. This may well be a more realistic option as the passengers side mechanism is much less likely to be worn when compared to the drivers side.
