Default My aux belt just snapped this morning....

5 months ago I bought a 2011 D3 5 cylinder V70 with partial service history. I work on my own motors outdoors in the Highlands of Scotland. I did the rear pads and discs since buying it in the snow because I had too, but was deferring the aux belt (belts?) and transmission fluid until spring.

This morning I was de-icing the car when the belt that drives the alternator let go. I realised straight away what it was and reached in and shut down the engine. First job tomorrow is to take off the wheel and liner and see what is going on. The engine kept running so I am optimistic the timing belt is okay. I won't be turned over again until I'm sure there is no debris in there to affect the timing belt.

I would like to order parts tonight but am somewhat confused. Does it have one aux belt or two? Can anyone recommend a good online retailer for the belt(s) and tensioner as the place I usually use is out of stock.

Thought I'd put this here rather than starting a new thread. Plus it reinforces the messages above. Car on 72000 miles broken belt obviously life expired with cracks in the vees.
