For better or worse, I've already committed to a set and they'll be fitted later today. I do have my concerns about the softness, hence the question but I don't mind a bit of experimentation at this price point. I'd hoped a bit more flex would help with the vast number of potholes on the roads around where I live but maybe this isn't such a good thing after all. I'll retain the old Maxxis tyres for a while, just in case it proves to be a disaster.
I'll post an update once I've covered a few miles on them.
BTW - Amazon 131? Nice car. My neighbour has owned one for the past 30+ years and it's a thing of beauty. It's still his daily drive.
