I've had the same problem with my 1995 volvo 440i with the B18U engine and need to locate an idle stepper motor. Tried a bosch dealer who wanted to know the part number (don't know). Also when they put my car details onto their system, they don't see anything called an idle stepper motor. Why? It must exist as owenski has bought one! The garage I'm using are volvo specialists who told me it isn't called an idle control valve as this is for carburettor models - mine's single point fuel injection. Can anyone help please?
