Some inexpensive and replica wheels are made from a softer alloy that will bend far too easily, resulting in either expensive repair or even more expensive replacement.
The safety aspects of a bendy alloy for the hard-charging 850R owner are too horrendous to contemplate.
The best way to get Volans at less than the £300+ a dealer will ask is check out the club web site for secondhand real deals.
