Yeah, only the dipped beam is Xenon, the main beam is still a halogen bulb. Though the Xenon bulb lifts up when the main beam is activated to assist it, hence why it is called Bi-Xenon.
As for doing an upgrade. I'm not sure whether the electrical connections will be a straight fit but without a software update and the level sensor fitting, it would always throw up error codes on the dash.
