As Andy has said the planned LPG conversion NEVER TOOK PLACE .... & YES I did cut out the boot ready for the tank install ... However when the tank was placed within the wheelwell it was obvious to me (& others who viewed it) that it was a much larger tank than had been previously thought.
it was decided that a smaller tank would / should be sourced & until that time (as the 960 was quite obviously off the road) .. it would be safer to leave the larger tank sat in the wheelwell. (we thought it would be "best" as if the members Grandchildren came round we would certainly NOT want a tank that was half full of LPG sitting in the garage)
As far as the Completed job .. it NEVER HAPPENED ..... the car now resides in Scotland & the Tank is being utilized in another LPG conversion down South.
But I must say THANK YOU for at least showing me the courtesy of "Understanding" & taking the things I have written within this thread at Face Value .....
