Given the rarity of the V8 and the spec I truly hope you get a good resolution from your insurers / the dealer.
I wanted a V8 too and spent ages looking but settled for a 2007 3.2 Executive in the end. I often wish I had the patience to have waited longer for a V8 but they are exceedingly rare beasts.
