Just to let those of you who are thinking of bidding for it, I registered to take part in the auction next Saturday week, as I've had it inspected and verdict is structurally sound.
So if that purple was the start of modifications to banger-race it, why wasn't it completed? I know it runs and drives, and was even MoT'd until recently: we will never know.
