The number printed on the rear on my old Bosch MAF is 0 280 217 107 (and also 1 275 749)
I haven't been able to find a replacement Bosch one, so at the moment I am running the car with the MAF unplugged and the engine management light on. It runs fine, apart from a slight hesitation when pulling away.
I've not read your fuel tank thread, but if that could be a cause of my problem I'd be interested to learn. My MAF looks perfectly clean and I understand it is rare for them to fail.
