I've tried 56 mph using cruise in 6th gear with 2 adults 1 child and half a tank of fuel on board,along the M69 - mine returned 65mpg.
The only way i can achieve the claimed figure is by slip streaming a lorry.

remember it is the Government who claim the figures , the manufacturer is not allowed to claim any fuel consumption figures ..
the purpose of the government figures is solely to compare one type or make or model of car to another under identical driving conditions .....
