Just curious which filters manufacturer supplies the Volvo factories.

Does anyone know?

Mann Filters supply OE to VW, hence I buy Mann filters for the x3 VW TDIs we have in the family fleet.

Having recently acquired a 2008 S40 1.6D, I thought it best to use OE filters but the nearest Volvo dealer is 25 miles away, so its ebay or local motor factors of which there are several.

We're going to use VW507.00 spec oil in the Volvo. VW507.00 exceeds most other 5w30 oils.
