I am moving from post to post, thread to thread trying to swot up on everyone's comments.
I visited the Volvocars website and saw the CEO video. Clever man. Anyway, it gave me an idea. While everyone appears to have written to Volvo Uk on this issue, I have taken the tack of writing to Volvo Sweden. I have Scandinanvian (Danish actually) bloodline (2nd Generation) and I aam blessed with all Scandinavian names. My belief is that I can stimulate a response from them on the ETM issue.
I have advised them that I am in the process of having the ETM software upgrade and have spent a substantial sum on all the other solutions that garages have recommended.
I have asked them to respond directly to me and not pass my letter on to Volvo UK.
Will see what happens and advise.
