Hey Guys-

Changed my oil and am not sure if there is supposed to be a gap between the plastic oil filter housing and where it attaches to the engine.

I know it is a dumb question. When re-installing the filter, I put a little oil in the housing and around each end of the filter / holes. I pushed the filter onto the male part of the receptor on the engine ... but maybe not fully pushed on the plastic housing male receptor ???
