have you tried bouncing the front end up and down by hand? if it takes ages to settle like a big bowl of jelly then yeah it's probably the shocks

if that's not the case, then put the engine up on axle stands under the subframe, grab a solid looking part of the engine and wiggle it about left to right and front to back

if it's wobbly left to right then change the mount under the pulleys on the left side (facing the engine from the front of the car)

if it's wobbly front to back then it could be the main 2 mounts

or maybe it's all 3 ?

does it have vacuum mounts and is it possible there's a leak or disconnected pipe or something (mine doesn't I don't have experience with that myself)
