Good article RollingThunder.

I've been rolling around on Pirelli Scorpion Verde all seasons. 2nd set for me now.
I get good miles out of a set and they do what I need. During the last meaningful snowfall I ended up coming to a standstill on a steep hill in Sheffield behind a Range Rover sport on the wrong tyres who was spinning away merrily and at an angle across both sides of the carriageway. Me ? I reversed away from him and set off around him as if there was tarmac under my tyres.

Unfortunately for the OP his tyre size seriously limits what he can purchase (I've looked on his behalf - self isolation boredom) although if he can batter down the price of the Vredstein Quatrac, they are a good tyre.
