Yes and no. It is a relatively young design (about 7 years in the market now) and these failures could be the start of something bigger (or just a statistical aberation). Only time will tell.
I remember Honda used to brag about the vtec engine. 15 million made and not a single failure I think the dealer told us. I am not sure I believed it then, or now....
