Exactly.
You can't go bodging brakes on a car that is road driven.
If the pistons are that tight, they are never going to work properly again.
Recon calipers, the only way,Plus regular fluid changes, unless you fancy wasting your time wrestling with something that will never be 100%.
They often sieze when the previous owners have let the pads wear right down, exposing more of the piston.
