Yes, I've removed the dim to re solder the usual joints but found my dim is a different type to the ones on the you tube videos.
Last year I had some communication issues in hot weather and removed the CEM but our car is early enough not to suffer from the leak into it.
I checked the plugs then and all seemed okay.
Rung Volvo diagnostics and he's said see how it goes so it may be time to give him a call on Monday.

Oh, and battery is six months old and charged up perfect...
