To update the situation...After lubing up the bearing (or at least close to the bearing) with some wheel bearing grease, the noise did not go away after the first day, nor the second day, however; Lucky number 3!
Both yesterday and today I haven't heard it all, so perhaps it took a few more drives for the grease to get inside the bearing, espeically since I didn't pull off the dust protector or whatever its called (I can't remember).
My only other guess is that the past two days it's been 30+ degrees Celcius here in Toronto, so perhaps the humidity/heat has something to do with it.
